Awakenings

Awakenings

Like the first light of day, Awakenings evokes a feeling of renewal, possibility, and new beginnings. Hand-built ceramic discs and small cup-shaped forms are arranged along a copper framework, creating a lively composition that celebrates the interplay of bold color, form, and texture.

The vibrant colors bring energy and warmth to the sculpture, while the combination of flat discs and rounded cup shapes creates an engaging contrast of depth and dimension. Together, these elements establish a dynamic rhythm across the composition, inviting the eye to move from one form to the next and discover new details along the way.

Balancing a strong graphic presence with a sense of spontaneity, Awakenings is a joyful celebration of color and transformation. Its expressive composition brings life and character to a wall, capturing the uplifting spirit of new beginnings.
